This Engineer Stamp of Seal is a self-inking stamp and one of our most popular seal choices. Stamp pads can be changed quickly or re-inked for thousands of more quality rubber stamp impressions. The professional engineer stamp will make about 5,000 stamp impressions and is available in 11 ink choices. All engineering stamps are made to your state specifications and can vary from 1-5/8" in diameter to a 2-inch diameter impression area. All rubber stamps include your custom information and offer a guarantee that our self-inking engineer stamp will meet your state specifications. Please note that there are some states that have unique sizing, so we will put the stamp on a Maxlight Pre-Inked Stamp or a Rectangular Self-Inking stamp to fit the required size.You will also receive a complimentary PE Stamp e-seal which is sent to you in email as tif, jpg format, pdf, and dxf files. If you need to put additional information with the product you can place a note on the order.

Information required to produce a professional seal
Full name Required	Enter your name exactly as it appears on your license, including any middle initial, suffix, or punctuation.
License number Required	Enter the license or registration number issued by your state board.
State of licensure Required	Your state determines the seal design, required wording, and impression size. Order one seal for each state in which you are licensed.
Professional discipline	Provide your discipline when your state requires it. If it is not required, the seal will be produced according to the standard state layout.
Additional board requirements	Use the order notes for special wording, unusual license formats, or other information required by your board.

If the information submitted does not match the state board's current requirements, we will contact you before the die is produced.

Please review your customization carefully before submitting the order.We remake products at no charge when we make an error. Misspellings, incorrect license numbers, or wrong options entered by the customer are not covered because the die is produced from the information submitted with the order.

Re-inking takes about five minutes. Use refill ink made for the stamp mount and keep the ink color consistent with the existing pad.

Press and lock the stampPress the stamp down fully and slide the locking tab so the mount stays in the depressed position.
Remove the ink padSlide the ink pad out through the channel on the side of the mount.
Apply the refill inkApply 3–5 drops of compatible refill ink evenly across the pad surface.
Allow the ink to absorbWait 2–3 minutes for the ink to spread through the pad before reassembling the stamp.
Reassemble and testSlide the pad back into the mount, release the lock, and make two or three test impressions on scrap paper.

If the impression remains faint after re-inking, the pad is likely worn rather than dry. Replace the ink pad and continue using the existing stamp mount and rubber die. Shop replacement ink pads

Do not mix ink colors. Use the same color already in the pad. Mixing colors can muddy the impression and cannot be undone.

Production and shipping

Most custom orders ship in 1 business day. Free standard shipping is available on qualifying orders over $99. Use the shipping estimator on the product page to view an estimated delivery date for your ZIP code.

Personalized items and returns

Custom seals and other personalized products are not returnable because the rubber die is produced from the information submitted with the order. The item remains covered by our remake policy. Report any discrepancy within 90 days of the sale date so the order can be reviewed.

Product warranty

The stamp mount and operating mechanism are covered for 6 months from the date of purchase. Normal ink-pad wear is considered routine use rather than a manufacturing defect because the pad is a replaceable consumable.

We remake and reship at no charge when:

The order is lost or damaged during transit.
We make a spelling or typesetting error.
The customization is produced incorrectly on our end.

Misspellings, incorrect license numbers, or wrong options entered by the customer are not covered because the die is cut from the information submitted at checkout. Please review every customization field carefully before placing the order.

What information do I need to provide to order my engineer seal?

Provide your full name as it appears on your license, your license or registration number, and your state of licensure. Some states also require your discipline on the seal. Enter this information in the customization fields at checkout and include any unusual board requirement in the order note.

Will this stamp be accepted by my state board?

Yes. Every professional seal is built to the specification published by the selected state board and is covered by the State Board Guarantee. If a board rejects a seal that was produced to specification, it will be remade at no charge. The guarantee does not extend to a seal altered at the customer's request.

What size will my engineer seal be?

The impression will be between 1-5/8 and 2 inches in diameter, depending on the state. The diameter is determined by the state board's specification rather than personal preference. If the required size does not fit the standard mount, the seal will be produced on a compatible alternative mount.

I am licensed in more than one state. Do I need a separate stamp for each?

Yes. Seal designs, required wording, and diameters differ by state, so each license needs its own stamp. Order one stamp per state and provide the corresponding license information for each one.

Do I need an embosser as well as a stamp?

For most engineering submittals, an inked seal impression is accepted. Some jurisdictions or clients may also require an embossed impression, so check the current state board or client requirement before ordering only one format.

What files come with the electronic seal, and when will I receive them?

The electronic seal is emailed as DXF, JPG, PDF, and TIF files after production. The DXF file is intended for CAD use, while the PDF and TIF files are suitable for signing and document workflows.

My license number changed. Can the existing stamp be updated?

No. The license number is engraved into the rubber die, so a change requires a new die. Order a new stamp with the current license number and retire the old stamp.

Can I return a personalized engineer stamp?

Personalized seals are not returnable, but they are covered by the remake policy. An order that was lost or damaged in transit, misspelled during production, or built incorrectly will be remade and reshipped at no charge when reported within the stated claim period. Errors in customer-submitted information are not covered.

Review the selected state board's current rules before ordering if your application has an unusual seal, size, ink color, or embossing requirement.

Some seal setups allow for slight modifications in within the design other states do not, our state board guarantee is in effect for seals we produce without any requested modifications to the design.
